CONCEPT

The artwork "EGO" portrays the majestic yet tormented display of the self, transforming the abstract concept of ego into a surreal theatrical scene. The elongated body of the pianist, fused with the keyboard itself, embodies the tension between expression and imprisonment, between the yearning for greatness and inner fragility. The taut strings unraveling from the head suggest the illusion of control, while the face stretched upward teeters between ecstasy and despair. The stage, a symbol of social life, frames the individual in an eternal performance, where the ego plays its melody in the hope of being recognized, admired, perhaps even understood.
